What is the difference between a Professional level and an Associate level Interior Designer?

Professional Level Interior designers have distinguished themselves by demonstrating talent and immense commitment through education and years of field experience. Professional designers also hold national accreditation by successful completion of the CQRID or NCIDQ exams. Associate level designers may also have vast education and experience; however do not hold national licensure.

What is the CQRID?

The CQRID is a rigorous nationally recognized exam that qualifies a designer’s practical knowledge, and drafting skills. The exam is taken in two parts and is a total of 9.5 hours long.

How Do Interior Designer’s Charge?
